Sebastian Richter is the CEO of ipoque, a Rohde & Schwarz company. In this position, he is significantly responsible for further developing and implementing the business strategy of ipoque. Sebastian brings extensive experience in R&D management for hard- and software from various companies. He has been part of the Rohde & Schwarz family since 2018, initially serving as the head of the ICR (Industry, Components & Research) market segment and later, starting from 2022, as the Application Segment Leader for Media Technologies. In these roles, his focus has been on the strategic alignment and growth of the respective market and application segments. With professional experience as a software development engineer, application engineer, R&D manager, and market segment leader, he possesses profound expertise in team leadership, strategic planning, research and development, as well as IT technology.
As Vice President of Engineering, Dr. Martin Mieth is responsible for all aspects of ipoque’s OEM network analytics solutions with a strong focus on innovation and research partnerships with universities. Prior to his current position, Martin successfully lead the deep packet inspection (DPI) development department and established an in-house research team dedicated to machine learning and artificial intelligence. Martin can rely on more than nine years of managing experience for several specialized teams, all while applying agile values and methods. Before joining ipoque, he worked for the German Federal Armed Forces as an IT officer in charge of numerous software development and IT projects. Martin holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering and information technology. He also holds an MBA and is a certified project manager.
As Head of Sales, Sebastian Müller manages the Sales team, providing leadership and supporting the team through complex sales cycles. In his position, he develops and ensures the attainment of further sales/revenue and profit margins, which contribute to the company’s bottom line. Prior to that, he held several other strategic positions at Rohde & Schwarz, including Business Development Manager and Product Manager. He can look back on 12 years of experience at Rohde & Schwarz, providing him with deep insights into market requirements and customer needs.
As Head of Product Management, Dr. Markus Schönberger manages the product portfolio across all product lines within the OEM network analytics department of ipoque and acts as ambassador of all of our customers and partners along the entire product life cycle. In his role, Markus strategically synchronizes all stakeholders, including R&D, Marketing, Sales and Support at ipoque and Rohde & Schwarz. In previous positions, Markus acted as Product Manager as well as Sales Director for biomedical hard- and software platforms. Markus holds a doctorate degree in computational neuroscience and biostatistics.
Heike Masurek brings more than 15 years of experience in B2B and B2C marketing, mostly in the technology and consumer goods industry. Prior to joining Rohde & Schwarz, she held several marketing positions, including Director of Marketing at VivoSensMedical and Hanwah Q CELLS. Heike can rely on many years of work experience in marketing communications, advertising, brand management and product marketing and has successfully managed brands at all stages; from infancy to maturity in both monopolistic and highly competitive environments. She began her career as a Marketing and Communication Consultant at Publicis Group – one of the largest marketing and communications companies in the world. Heike holds a master’s degree in media and communication.
Stephan Klokow brings more than fifteen years of leadership experience in the energy sector with a focus on IT, product and software development and operations. His profound understanding of markets and technologies as well as his passion for technology paired with an entrepreneurial mindset make him the ideal Chief Technology Officer. Before joining Rohde & Schwarz, he worked on national and international projects, being responsible for the further development of digital products focusing on smart homes and IoT. He also has extensive experience in product and service development of powerful and highly available IT systems for industrial customers in the electricity, gas and non-commodity sectors. Stephan holds a degree in computer science.

John Bonzey is responsible for the American market, which he opened successfully for all ipoque products since joining Rohde & Schwarz back in 2013. John has a strong position in selling both software and hardware system solutions to network operators, enterprise and OEM market segments. With more than 25 years of experience, he has achieved high revenue and account growth for high-tech companies, such as Spirent Communications, Tektronix, Tollgrade Communications and others.
As Recruiting Manager at ipoque, Sebastian is responsible for the entire applicant management, from the creation of the job advertisement to the signing of the contract. His tasks include the direct approach on popular social media platforms, the conduct of job interviews, trial days and assessment centers as well as the selection of suitable applicants, based on the required qualifications.
