We are looking for 2 students for the further development of ipoque’s network traffic monitoring and analysis systems.

Responsibilities

  • Development of tools and extensions to existing systems that support product development, currently
    • Wireshark extensions
    • Improvement of automated QA system
    • Improvement and support for our internal protocol test suite
  • Support for product development team
  • Product and development related research


Required

  • Solid programming skills
  • Good Linux knowledge
  • Good verbal and written English language skills
  • Team player with a structured and independent approach to work
  • Willingness to learn new things


Desirable

  • Solid knowledge in algorithms and data structures
  • Good development skills using C, Java, Scripting Languages (Python, Perl) or similar
  • Proficient UNIX knowledge (shell scripting, systems integration)
  • Knowledge of version control systems (SVN, GIT)
  • Experience in open source software development is a big plus
