We are looking for a Java Software Engineer for the design and development of next-generation reporting and management components for ipoque’s Internet traffic management systems.
Responsiblities
- Design and implementation of OSGi-based software to manage network appliances
- Further development of our Java/PostgreSQL-based analysis and reporting software
- Realization, maintenance and documentation of external interfaces like SNMP, SOAP and IPFIX
- Collaboration with web- and hardware teams in order to integrate the components
Required
- Excellent Java programming skills
- RDBMS proficiency
- Good English language skills
- A structured and independent work approach
- Team spirit
Desireable
- Experience in developing open source software is a big plus (If you have a github account with an appropriate project, we’ll invite you right away!)
- Verifiable knowledge of NoSQL databases or ORM
- Web development or PHP experiences
- Experience with JasperReports or similar engines
- Proficient UNIX knowledge (shell scripting, system integration)
