As a Technical Pre-sales Engineer at our headquarters in Leipzig, you are the link between ipoque and our customers.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive technical advice to partners and customers on ipoque’s full product range
- Reply to technical tenders
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously under strict time constraints
- Perform live demos, workshops, field-trials and remote webinars without supervision
- Develop customer-focused solutions in close contact with our product managers
- Support our team at international fairs by giving presentations and working the booth
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science or completed IT qualification
- At least two years of work experience as Sales- or Support Engineer in IT
- Profound knowledge of the structure, functionality and topology of communication networks
- Good knowledge of networking essentials (LAN/WAN/VPN/SSL/Firewall/Switch/Router)
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong English skills are a must
- Ability to present complex technical concepts in a comprehendible way
- High degree of flexibility and willingness to travel
