As a Technical Pre-sales Engineer at our headquarters in Leipzig, you are the link between ipoque and our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive technical advice to partners and customers on ipoque’s  full product range
  • Reply to technical tenders
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously under strict time constraints
  • Perform live demos, workshops, field-trials and remote webinars without supervision
  • Develop customer-focused solutions in close contact with our product managers
  • Support our team at international fairs by giving presentations and working the booth

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science or completed IT qualification
  • At least two years of work experience as Sales- or Support Engineer in IT
  • Profound knowledge of the structure, functionality and topology of communication networks
  • Good knowledge of networking essentials (LAN/WAN/VPN/SSL/Firewall/Switch/Router)
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong English skills are a must
  • Ability to present complex technical concepts in a comprehendible way
  • High degree of flexibility and willingness to travel
